The fall out from Obama’s former pastor’s latest tirade has created problems and despite Obama’s unbelievable denials and attempts to disassociate himself have left many on the left concerned (see here.) while Rush Limbaugh puts a pause on Operation Chaos. Can this be Hillary’s big break as recent polls in Indiana and Kentucky show her up. Can she come back and complete Obama’s collassal collapse with her new Moderate image?
While advocating for an earmarks moratorium, Hillary Clinton asks for $2.3 billion worth.
Republicans question ethanol subsidies and turning food into fuel.
The President can tell the truth about the enemy we battle, why can’t the rest of the government?

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) has requested nearly $2.3 billion in federal earmarks for 2009, almost three times the largest amount received by a single senator this year.
The Democratic presidential candidate’s staggering request comes at a time when Congress remains engaged in a heated debate over spending federal dollars on parochial projects.
It also has gained traction on the campaign trail. Presumptive GOP nominee Sen. John McCain (Ariz.), a longtime foe of earmarks, has called for eliminating what he dubs “wasteful Washington spending.” Democratic front-runner Sen. Barack Obama (Ill.) has spurned earmarks, seeking no funds for pet projects in the upcoming fiscal year.
Yet Clinton is continuing to request billions for earmarks, most of which will go to her home state.

As a senior African American citizen I feel compelled to speak out regarding the Obama/Pastor Wright situation. Pundits are saying that this could cause a big problem for Obama with the white vote - but as a black voter - it has caused a problem here as well.
I began to worry when the word “change” came about - change in the old politicans in Washington DC and yet accepting endorsements from Kerry, Kennedy and many many more. He is a politican right out of Washington DC.
The Church, The Pastor, The marriage, the baptism of his children, how on earth could you go to a Church for 20 years and not know ANYTHING about the Pastor - if you are that unaware - who would want that for a President.
Hope - let me tell you - Bill Clinton and Brad Pitt went to New Orleans to give HOPE to the residents of that wonderful city for reconstruction - Hillary went a little later for the same exact reason EVEN THOUGH she did not get the vote from the city - Obama refused to attend the rally as he was too busy with his campaign - guess he got the votes that he needed - yet another example of a Washington DC politican - left Penna even before the last votes were counted.
My brothers and sisters in Indiana and North Carolina - please vote with your heart in the upcoming primary - my own family and friends voted by color - and I know the talk on the street - but just remember - whoever the candidate is YOU WILL STILL HAVE TO WORK FOR A LIVING.
Think and vote wise - and God Bless our America
