For all those who think that you’re going to get Sarah Palin off the ticket, John McCain sent a clear message, “Take a long jump off a short pier.” I wondered whether he would have the gumption to stick by Palin given people have been thrown under the bus. But, this is different.

This isn’t about someone making an offensive statement. This is a media war against an American family, and John McCain will not surrender. He will not give in to these people. He’s communicating clearly where he stands. The left and the Washington elite won’t understand it.
