Jesus Navarro Montes, accused of killing a U.S. border patrol agent, was set free after a Mexican Judge released him from custody.

Jesus Navarro Montes

Montes rammed Agent Luis Aguilar Jan. 19 near the Imperial Sand Dunes in Imperial County, Calififornia with his Hummer vehicle. Aguilar was attempting to stop two Mexican vehicles from entering the country illegally.

A Mexican judge has released Montes without restrictions because of an “unspecified technicality.”

Border Patrol agents who tirelessly serve our nation are beyond outraged in Mexico’s response and our own nation’s complacency in this matter.

There have been talks of the U.S. supporting Mexican efforts in the war on drugs. We’re talking about billions. Mexican officials are even more corrupt than our own political system. Any legislative member of congress with half a brain will shoot down any such preposterous proposal. You cannot throw money into an already perverse system of justice.

We are beginning to suffer from “Homeland Insecurity.”

Gov. Bill Ritter is another one of those politicians no longer serving his constituents. It’s all about getting re-elected and sucking up to those anti-Christ activists who contribute the most coin to their campaign efforts. If you go to his web site you’ll see photos of the Gov. Bill Ritter signing legislation helping the boy scouts, people with developmental disabilities and Boys and Girls Clubs. These kids have no idea that this new bill could open them up to a whole new world of sexual predators in public restrooms. Way to go Gov’…you put the “core” in “corruption.”

From the fine folks at World Net Daily:

‘Religion in private’ OK, says ACLU
New limits on Christians leave family groups reeling

Colorado Knucklehead Gov. Bill Ritter

Colorado’s new state law that was based on the apparent belief that free speech rights are not unalienable and they sometimes must be restricted is scaring residents who now fear expressing their opinions in public.

WND has reported previously that the law, SB200, which was promoted as an “anti-discrimination” plan favoring alternative sexual lifestyles and gender perceptions, has made it a criminal offense to discriminate against someone based on those lifestyles or perceptions.

The Christian publishing house Focus on the Family has called it a payback by the Democrat-controlled legislature and Democratic Gov. Bill Ritter to homosexual activists such as millionaire Tim Gill, who has donated widely to pro-homosexual political candidates.

The Focus analysis of the plan, according to spokesman Bruce Hausknecht, shows that besides the obvious impacts of opening restrooms and locker rooms statewide to members of either sex, depending on a perception of their gender, “the biggest danger this law poses is to the religious or moral consciences of small business owners who may object to doing business with people whose lifestyle they do not want to promote.’

“Who would have believed that the Colorado state legislature and its governor would have made it fully legal for men to enter and use women’s restrooms and locker-room facilities without notice or explanation?” Focus founder James Dobson said. “Henceforth, every woman and little girl will have to fear that a predator, bisexual, cross-dresser or even a homosexual or heterosexual male might walk in and relieve himself in their presence.”

Other groups also have issued warnings.

Colorado Family Action wrote of the plan: “This bill lays groundwork for state-sanctioned abuse of individuals and organizations who have faithfully held religious convictions and refuse to offer or sell goods or services to homosexuals, bisexuals, transgendered, or transsexual individuals because of such beliefs.

“This desire to limit the constitutionally guaranteed right to the ‘free exercise of religion’ can be seen in Cathryn Hazouri’s, executive director of the American Civil Liberties Union, testimony given before the Colorado House Judiciary Committee,” the group said.

“One may practice one’s religion in private; however, once a religious person comes into the public arena, there are limitations in how the expression of their religion impacts others,” she had said.

Individual residents also now are beginning to realize the potential of the new law, which was approved by the legislature with a declaration that it is needed for “public safety” so it is not subject to any vote of the people.

“Now, as I stand outside of a movie theater bathroom or a swimming pool shower room door and guard the most precious thing in my life: my wife and daughter’s safety, modesty and privacy, I can no longer stop a man from entering a woman’s domain,” wrote a concern resident whose name was withheld. “(I will anyway, that’s why I’m a criminal!)”

“An act that once was criminal is now legitimate, and what was taught to me as a virtue is now a vice. Not only am I liable for civil penalties but criminal, as I can be sentenced for up to a year in jail,” he wrote.

“I immediately contacted my state representative, Wes McKinley, to ask him what his stand was on this bill. He proudly told me he supported it. I brought to his attention the recent case in New Mexico that was in national news. A photographer refused to photograph a lesbian ceremony. The lesbian couple found another photographer who would and then turned around and sued the Christian photographer for refusing. They won the suit and the photographer was fined over $6,000.00. I asked Rep. McKinley if he thought this was right. He told me no and assured me that wouldn’t happen with this bill,” the resident wrote.

“I then contacted my attorney who told me that SB200 does, indeed, open the door to this kind of litigation, and that I would have to be careful to not express my convictions in public in this kind of situation,” he wrote.

He also reacted to Hazouri’s comments, which were unchallenged by the state legislature.

She said, “You give up some of your rights when you go into the public square,” the resident said. “Wow, I didn’t know that. I was taught in school that these rights of free speech were ‘unalienable.’ Apparently, gay rights trump heterosexual rights, as well as the First Amendment.”

“So, as long as I keep my convictions to myself and only express them in my home or church, I’m legal. Somehow, I don’t think this is what the Bill of Rights meant,” he said.

“Will SB200 be the end of it? No. Next, hate crime legislation must be passed so that it is illegal for me to write this letter (as it is now illegal in Canada); then enforced homosexual/transsexual indoctrination of our children in the public educational system; finally, all other alternative forms of education must be outlawed. Impossible, you say? It’s already happened in California,” he said. “As I’m being forced into this ’shotgun wedding’ with the radical homosexual agenda, I hope it’s not too late to ’speak now, or forever hold my peace.’ What is it called when you are forced, against your will, to participate in a sexual lifestyle that you find objectionable? I believe that is called ‘rape.’ My state legislature has ‘violated’ me and charged me with the crime.”

Tom Minnery, the senior vice president of government and public policy for Focus, told the Denver Post there are “multiple problems” with the plan, “but the problem of restrooms is the most breathtaking one. … With SB200, however, we no longer have two ’sexes,’ we enter a brave new world with a myriad of ’sexual orientations’ that must not be discriminated against, upon pain of the substantial civil and criminal penalties contained in the bill.

“Woe to the first women’s fitness facility or mall owner who objects to a man dressed as a woman who wants to enter previously forbidden territory. And what an opportunity for sexual predators,” he wrote.

He said every Christian, Jewish or Muslim business owner now is under a threat.

“We’ve seen … charges brought by homosexuals against a video reproduction business in Virginia, a medical clinic in California, an adoption service in Arizona and a church in New Jersey,” he continued. “Colorado tops them all on the potential outrage meter, however, because in addition to civil fines and penalties, small-business owners can be prosecuted under the criminal laws of Colorado and spend up to one year in jail for trying to live according to their faith.”

There are other groups preparing for full-scale war in Colorado.

“American RTL [Right to Life] Action is a political 527 group headquartered a half-block from the Colorado capitol, and we’re not going to hire someone cohabitating outside of marriage, let alone a homosexual,” said Steve Curtis, the group’s president and former chairman of the Colorado Republican Party. “SB200 also makes it a crime for us to publish biblical teaching on immorality, so we are prepared to violate this anti-Christian government censorship. The liberals always said what homosexuals do in private could never affect anyone else; of course that was always a lie; they’re trying to criminalize traditional Christianity. The fight is on.”

Democrats in Congress have threatened to reinstate the so-called “Fairness Doctrine,” which would stifle the free-speech rights of conservatives by requiring stations to broadcast liberal viewpoints. Dr. James Dobson has called the Fairness Doctrine a “miserable failure” that “stifled speech which is guaranteed in the Constitution.”

Obama the Rock Star

2008 Race, Obama No Comments

Prepare yourselves for yet another cover of the Rolling Stone featuring Barack Obama. Apparently the rock star image is still lingering in the minds of some.

This time it’s just a simple picture of a smiling Obama. No clever words; no clouds surrounding him; no Christ like imagery. It’s just a simple picture.

The Audacity of Me Being President

On

“Just In” with Laura Ingraham

she says in the interview that Obama praises rap music for unifying the culture through music. He expresses his admiration for rapper Ludacris which just boggles the mind. I had to rewind that one to make sure I heard it right. After researching lyrics from rapper Ludacris I felt it irresponsible to post even the “censored” versions. They are simply too obscene and frankly too gansta, if you will!

I can’t imagine hearing the new version of “Hail To The Chief” we might be subjected to. This is who he admires? It’s Ludacris…uh, yeah, exactly. The White House will soon be on MTV Cribs.

Another thing I don’t get is the lapel pin. Oh, wait a minute, I get it. To appeal to the Patriotic voter, he’ll put one on. So if we question his judgment or character he’ll change his mind. Is he turning into a political puppet? With a little more persuasion we’ll have him on a trip to Iraq.

Nancy Pelosi says she admires his judgment. Was it good judgment to smoke weed or do “a little blow?” Maybe that’s why Obama is grinning in the photo. You’d have to be high to think you can be President with virtually no experience. After all, in the background it does say “Roll One.”

I know…I shouldn’t point out the speck in his eye. But really, please, what judgment is there to admire? He can’t grasp the simple economics of supply and demand. You admire his judgment? C’mon, don’t be such a Pelosi.

This is change we can’t afford.

Michelle Obama’s Softer Side

2008 Race, Obama No Comments

If you are out to improve your image, I think The “Hen Pecking” View would be the last place one would choose for that opportunity. Michelle Obama is trying to reveal to us her softer side. The side that says, “I’ve always been proud of our country.”

Michelle Obama was raised in a two-parent, middle class family. She was admitted to Princeton. Reflecting on this experience Michelle says, “All my life I have confronted people who had a certain expectation of me. Every step of the way, there has been people telling me what I couldn’t do. When I applied to Princeton, they said: you can’t go there, your test scores aren’t high enough.”

Yeah, yeah, yeah Michelle, that’s all more “feel good” talk we’ve come to expect from an Obama, but your tests really weren’t good enough. Michelle Obama was a part of that affirmative action movement where you might have been above the average but she’s certainly not Ivy League material. She got the preferential treatment to one of America’s most elite institutions to meet a quota.

She says she graduated with honors. Well, that may be true but her thesis, which is posted on the internet, is on the problems faced by a black woman at an Ivy League university. What a stretch, huh?

Here’s a snippet:

“By actually working with the Black lower class or within their communities as a result of their ideologies, a separationist may better understand the desparation of their situation and feel more hopeless about a resolution as opposed to an integrationist who is ignorant to their plight.”

The tenses and grammar are all wrong here and “desperation” is spelled wrong, too. It should be “of their plight” not “to their plight.” To destroy the English language like Michelle Obama has done in her thesis and be rewarded with honors is quite puzzling. This is not a blogpost, this is a culmination reflective of a college career.

Michelle Obama went on to greater accomplishments cashing in on her skin color by getting a position with the University of Chicago’s hospitals. She was to run “programs for community relations, neighborhood outreach, volunteer recruitment, staff diversity, and minority contracting.” Here her salary was $400,000 a year.

You might think with someone getting as many privileges as she has there would be a hint of gratitude. But no, Michelle believes she has really bulled her way through the oppression of the white elites. She turns a “you’re not good enough, but we’ll take you anyway” into a “they said I wasn’t good enough but I proved them wrong.”

Barack Obama wants everyone to “lay off” his wife but when you stand next to and directly influence a man who’s biding for the most powerful position in the free world, that request just isn’t reasonable.

Perhaps Michelle should keep her forked tongue in her mouth until this thing blows over.

The Erosion of Religious Freedom is Upon Us

Gay Marriage No Comments

If you haven’t already, like Paul tells us in Ephesians 6:11, “Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. ” (NIV) Some crazy news from our friends at CitizenLink.org and Jennifer Mesko just fired me up.

Elaine Huguenin, a Christian photographer is getting her First Amendment rights tossed over the garden wall. This is a “heads up”.

Same-Sex ‘Marriages’ Erode Religious Freedoms

‘California’s judicially imposed social experiment has hastened the demise of religious freedom across the U.S.’

As same-sex couples line up to get “married” in California today, religious groups across the nation are preparing for more of their rights to be trampled.

“What most trusting Americans fail to grasp is the correlation between the advancement of the homosexual agenda and the gradual erosion of our religious liberty,” said Bruce Hausknecht, judicial analyst for Focus on the Family Action.

“California’s judicially imposed social experiment in marriage has hastened the demise of religious freedom across the U.S.”

Elaine Huguenin, a Christian photographer in New Mexico, has already seen her First Amendment rights set aside, in favor of gay “rights.”

Earlier this year, the New Mexico Human Rights Commission found Huguenin guilty of discrimination and fined her company more than $6,600 after she refused to photograph a same-sex “commitment ceremony.”

Jordan Lorence, senior counsel for the Alliance Defense Fund, is representing Huguenin and her husband, Jon. He said businesses and charities should not be forced to endorse something they don’t believe.

“It’s compelled speech,” Lorence told NPR. “You’re using the arm of the government (to) punish people for disagreeing with you.”

Marc Stern, general counsel for the American Jewish Congress, told NPR the outlook is grim for religious groups.

“What if a church offers marriage counseling? Will they be able to say ‘No, we’re not going to help gay couples get along because it violates our religious principles to do so’? What about summer camps? Will they be able to insist that gay couples not serve as staff because they’re a bad example?” Stern asked.

After Massachusetts legalized gay “marriage,” a Boston Catholic charity dropped its adoption services, rather than violate its beliefs by placing children with same-sex couples.

In New Jersey, the arrival of civil unions led almost immediately to a church losing part of its tax-exempt status for refusing to allow a lesbian “commitment ceremony” to take place on church property.

“If the ultimate result of gay ‘marriage’ and other items on the homosexual agenda is that pastors and believers can be prosecuted and silenced,” Hausknecht said, “then we have truly lost the religious freedoms that this country was founded upon.”

FOR MORE INFORMATION
California voters will have the chance to define marriage in November, when they vote on a constitutional amendment that would restore marriage to mean one man and one woman. Visit the Protect Marriage Web site.

I just can’t help but think how better off we’d be if we didn’t have our churches being squelched for fear of losing tax exemption status. Can anyone shed some light here? Please, comments are always welcomed.

America, are you still sitting on your gas?

Uncategorized No Comments

This commentary by Chuck Norris is definitely getting some of us off our gasses and doing something. Get the word out and paste this into an email and sent to all your contacts. We can make an impact!

Courtesy of Chuck Norris and World News Daily.

In my column last week, “Congress, get off your gas, and drill,” I called upon Americans to sign Newt Gingrich’s petition “Drill here, drill now, pay less,” mandating Congress to do something now to immediately bring down gas prices. As a result, several hundred thousand people signed the petition. That’s a fantastic start, but we need more – lots more. And we can use your help.

Are the rest of the 300 million Americans actually enjoying doling out $50 to $100+ for a fill up? It’s time to wake up the remaining Americans who are snoozing in our petroleum nightmare. If we are going to drive down gas prices, we’ve got to get this country as mad as hell to do it. I got so riled up this past week that I went on Fox News to send out a battle cry to all Americans, and I just filmed a new YouTube bit for Newt, titled “Chuck Norris drills Congress.” I think you’ll like it.

Our government has done very little as a response to this energy crisis. They’ve stopped filling our emergency oil reserves with the 70,000 gallons a day, but won’t draw from them in order to drive down costs. The Federal Reserve has cut interest rates seven times, but gas prices continue to rise. And while the Energy Department reported it will cut gas prices 3.5 cents per gallon, you’ll be saving only a whopping 60 cents off what it now costs you to fill up your tank. To add insult to injury, a congressional subcommittee voted a week ago to continue to prevent drilling off the coasts of America. Are these the best solutions these elected knuckleheads can come up with? Are we done telling them that we don’t like their solutions? Are we going to wait until our blood and gas boil to $6 a gallon?

This past weekend, in a great USA Today article on our gas crisis, two dozen energy specialists were asked what could be done to reduce gas prices. There was no one unified answer, but one thing was obvious – doing nothing will only drive costs higher. Some say drill domestic oils. Others say tap into our petroleum reserves. Still others say we must pull all the stops from developing alternative forms of energy. I say do it all, do anything, and do the most obvious, which is drill here and drill now. The solution isn’t “either … or” but “both … and.” Everything helps when Americans are being chocked at the pump to the tune of $4+ a gallon.

The Energy Policy Research Foundation concludes that aggressive new drilling and development of our oil shale reserves and withdrawing 200 million from the 700 million barrels of oil in our Strategic Petroleum Reserve could in a relatively short time cuts costs 37 cents a gallon. And that doesn’t take into consideration the price reductions that would result in the market when oil price controllers realize they don’t have an oil monopoly over us.

And if we are even more aggressive with drilling, we can drive down prices like a pile driver. More than 100 billion barrels of oil are available off the Pacific, Atlantic and Gulf coasts and under Alaska, and that’s not counting the oil shale reserves across the Midwest that rivals the reservoirs of the Middle East. It alone could satisfy America’s need for gas for 13 years! But it’s going to take those political pantywaists in Washington to get off their gas, get a little backbone against environmentalists (who now prevent 85 percent of drilling off our coasts), and pass an emergency resolution to drill here and drill now. Even President Bush consented this past week before he left to Europe, saying, domestic drilling will “give this country a chance to help us through this difficult period by finding more supplies of crude oil, which would take the pressure off the price of gasoline.”

New York Lets Troubled Kids Choose Their Gender

family 2 Comments

I just don’t get it. What the heck is going on in this country? Are these people hittin’ the crack pipe?! These kids can’t even begin to reason like adults let alone make adult-like decisions. You would seriously think someone made this up. From our friends at CitizenLink.

New York’s Office of Children and Family Services, which runs the state’s juvenile-detention centers, has quietly adopted new rules that cater to lesbian, gay, bisexual and “transgender” youth in its custody, The Village Voice reported.

“Transgendered” youth can request private sleeping quarters and be called by their chosen name. The new guidelines even allow boys to wear girls’ panties and bras, use makeup and shave their legs.

The policy shift and new rules, which were approved without fanfare or even a press release, follow a 2006 lawsuit by a “transgendered” kid.

Caleb H. Price, policy analyst at Focus on the Family, said this is another example of how the pro-gay, pro-”transgender” agenda is spreading across America.

“These activists say there are not two genders, but theoretically an infinite number,” he said. “They argue that gender is fluid, and that you may select, create and express your own.

“These young people need professional attention and healing to help them embrace their God-given, biological sex. Instead, New York is helping these gender-confused juveniles to embrace disordered thinking and beliefs.”

And just as mind-blowing was this story reported in World News Daily recently.

Children’s hospital launches sex change for kids program
‘This isn’t conjecture, it’s happening now’

A doctor at the renowned Children’s Hospital Boston has launched a new program to drug children to delay puberty so they can decide whether they want a male or a female body, according to a report today in the Boston Globe.

Pediatric endocrinologist Norman Spack, 64, says he started the Gender Management Service Clinic because he found himself encountering 20-somethings who were “transgendered” and in good shape socially, “but they were having trouble getting their physique to conform to their identity.

“I knew the 20-somethings could have better chances of passing if they were treated earlier,” he said.

“We don’t think that demonic is too strong a word to describe this,” said a statement from the pro-family Mass Resistance organization. “It brings us thoughts of the Nazi doctors who thought they were doing good things.”

WND has reported previously on some of the controversies prompted by the belief that a man can be born in a woman’s body, or vice versa, including in Montgomery County, Md., where county officials have adopted a law that precludes those who provide public accommodations from discriminating based on that “gender identity.”

Voters there have petitioned to have a vote on that law because they fear men who “decide” they are female walking into women’s restrooms and locker rooms.

“Is this our future?” asked Mass Resistance in a commentary. “Dr. Norman Spack runs a clinic for young children who’ve ‘decided’ they are transgendered. Among other things, the clinic administers powerful hormones to delay (or even stop) puberty in order that the children more easily undergo operations that mutilate their bodies to ‘change’ them to the opposite sex.”

“This is going on at the world-renowned Children’s Hospital in Boston – not some backwater clinic. This is the elite of the medical profession,” the organization said.

In a question-and-answer session with Globe columnist Pagan Kennedy, she starts the apologetic for doing surgery on children by saying, “Little boys sob unless they’re allowed to wear dresses. The girls want to be called Luke, Ted, or James.”

“Until recently, children with cross-gender feelings rarely received modern medical care – and certainly not hormone shots. After all, who would allow a child to redesign his or her body?” she asks.

But Spack, she wrote, has started a clinic that “is one of the few in the world to give children treatments that change their bodies.”

She reports he uses drugs to delay puberty, “granting them a few more years before they develop bodies that are decidedly male or female.”

Spack tells the interviewer he’s seen “preadolescents” who have been dressing in underwear of the opposite sex “for years.”

“The puberty-blocking drugs work best at the beginning of the pubital process, typically age 10 to 12 for a girl and 12 to 14 for a boy,” he said. He’s based some of his work on a Dutch model for sex-change, and said the recommendations there are age 16 for hormones that forever change a child’s body.

But “for others,” he wrote, “you lose opportunities if you wait. [One of my patients, a] transgendered girl from the UK, was destined to be a 6-foot-4 male. With treatment, she’s going to end up 5-foot-10.”

He said such treatments not only change the physical characteristics of the growing children, but also could leave them sterile for life.

“You have to explain to the patients that if they go ahead, they may not be able to have children. … But if you don’t start treatment, they will always have trouble fitting in,” he said.

“This isn’t conjecture,” Mass Resistance’ commentary said. “It’s happening now. And ‘transgenderism’ is being promoted to kids by homosexual/transgender activists in the public schools.”

Children as young as 12 already have been given the treatment.

Meanwhile, LifeSiteNews has reported that Spack previously acknowledged that only about 20 percent of children who claim to have a confusion over their gender hold those feelings in adulthood.

The hospital itself calls the program “unique in the Western hemisphere.”

“This will be the first major program in the country that … [is] also welcoming young people who appear to be transgendered and are considering medical protocols that might help them,” Spack said.

N’Obama’s Promise to Planned Parenthood

2008 Race, Democrats, F3, Obama, family No Comments

The so-called Freedom of Choice Act could wipe away every state law limiting abortion.

In response to the April 18, 2007 U.S. Supreme Court decision (Gonzales v. Carhart) upholding the federal Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act, prominent Democratic members of Congress the next day reintroduced the so-called “Freedom of Choice Act” (FOCA), a proposed federal law to nullify virtually all federal and state limitations on abortion!

Last year, presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., shown here in his grass roots religious “garb” made a promise to the Planned Parenthood Action Fund:

“The first thing I’d do as president is sign the Freedom of Choice Act,” he said.

The so-called Freedom of Choice Act could wipe away every state law limiting abortion, undoing decades of legal work, research and educational successes.

N’Obama has co-sponsored the legislation with 18 other senators. The bill has the support of 109 members of Congress.

“Thirty-five years after Roe, abortion supporters, like Senator N’Obama, are dismayed that abortion remains a divisive issue and that their radical agenda has not been submissively accepted by the American public,” writes Denise M. Burke, vice president of Americans United for Life.

“Rather than confronting legitimate issues concerning the availability and safety of abortion, they choose to blatantly ignore the concerns and interests of everyday Americans, as well as the growing evidence that abortion hurts women.”

Day Gardner, president of the National Black Pro-Life Union, said even the federal Partial Birth Abortion Ban Act could be overturned.

“This shows exactly how dangerous this man is to unborn children,” he said. “We are killing off our children, and this is something we really have to pay attention to.”

FACT: The majority of abortion’s are performed because of convenience. Having a baby is just too inconvenient. Well, telemarketers are pretty inconvenient, should we whack them too? How about door-to-door salesmen, should we bump them off? It seems like taking a life is okay to some people if it promises less stress or avoids a certain set back.

Congress Continues to Stifle Our Freedoms

Economy, F3, freedom 1 Comment

As the price of gas continues to rise to nose-bleed levels our freedoms are being compromised. How many of us are being stripped of activities and freedoms we used to enjoy? It’s easy to point the finger at “greedy” oil executives but that honestly isn’t the problem. It comes down to the basic supply and demand tug o’ war. As supplies decrease our demands haven’t changed a bit. It takes a change in behavior to lessen the demand on oil. We have heard so much yada yada yada of efforts to lower prices of gas and it keeps us all hoping that they will fall. That’s where the danger lies—because it give us just enough hope to keep us from making any efforts to change our consumption. Seriously, have we ever seen prices at the pump fall to where we all breathed a sigh of relief? Seriously!

Investors Business Daily estimates there are 1 trillion barrels of oil trapped in shale in the U.S. and Canada. Retrieving just a 10th of it would quadruple our current oil reserves. There is a pool of oil in the Gulf of Mexico that is estimated to be as large as any in the Middle East. There is an equally large pool believed to be in Alaska.

The Chinese are attempting to tap into the Gulf oil by drill diagonally from Cuba! They don’t have the environmentally safe technology that the US has. What is our predominately Democratic Congress going to do about it?

We have environmentally safe ways to extract oil from shale and drilling in Alaska and the Gulf. Our Democratic Congress continues to block those efforts. Last week the Senate voted to block extraction from shale in Colorado. They essentially voted to keep gas prices at present inclining levels, and airline tickets rising with even more job losses in the industry expected, and to make heating our homes at comfortably temperatures an option for most.

I’m pretty hot about this topic. I think I’ll go cool off in a carpool!
